Colorado Consent Decree Monitor

For Private Businesses and Governmental Entities

Following resolution of large, Class Action lawsuits involving discrimination or similar issues, the EEOC or private counsel representing the Class may ask the Court to order that the employer be monitored by a neutral professional for a period of time to ensure that it complies with all terms of the Settlement Agreement. LADR attorney-neutral Katy Miller has been appointed Consent Decree Monitor in cases involving private businesses as well as the Federal government. In her role, Katy oversees employment practices, gives employees a fair and impartial point of contact for ongoing concerns, and makes recommendations to the employer on Employment Best Practices. She writes detailed reports to the parties, for the EEOC or the Court about compliance with the Decree.
